DOE Awards SBIR Funding for Advanced Biofuels, Clean Energy Research

U.S. Deputy Secretary of Energy Daniel Poneman announced on May 24 during a tour of Arkansas Power Electronics International’s power storage facility in Fayetteville, Ark., the U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE) Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Program awarded US$11 million in innovative research and technology grants of up to $150,000 to nearly 70 small businesses nationwide.
