Biodiesel RIN Fraudster Gunselman Sentenced to 15 Years in Federal Prison

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) announced March 29 that Jeffrey David Gunselman, 30, was sentenced to 188 months in federal prison, fined US$175,000 and was ordered to pay more than $54.9 million in restitution, following his guilty plea in December 2012 to an indictment charging 51 counts of wire fraud, 24 counts of money laundering and four counts of making false statements in violation of the Clean Air Act.
