On-site healthcare centers for employees and their families are helping employers reduce healthcare costs and contributing to workforce wellness. A just-released survey by Mercer found that 29 percent of employers with 5,000 or more employees had on-site healthcare clinics. Sixty-three percent of those employers said they successfully reduced their lost workdays and 58 percent said the clinics helped employees manage chronic conditions, like diabetes.
