Gilbarco Veeder-Root Introduces E25 Upgrade Option for Encore Fuel Dispensers

Greensboro, N.C.-based retail technology provider Gilbarco Veeder-Root (GVR) announced July 24 that it is offering E25 Field Retrofit Kits for the entire line of Encore fuel dispensers. Retailers interested in offering E15 fuel or any other blend up to E25 will be required to prove E25 fuel compatibility and Underwriters Laboratory (UL) approval in order to maintain the unit's listing, according to a statement issued by GVR. The company noted that the Encore E25 retrofit kits provide its partners with an industry first opportunity in fuel marketing and an affordable way to upgrade existing equipment with UL-certified components.
