King of Prussia, Pa.-based cellulosic sugar technology developer Renmatix and Madison, Wisc.-based biorefining technology developer Virent Energy Systems jointly announced December 6 at the ICIS Innovation Awards in London that they forged a strategic collaboration to convert cellulosic sugars to bio-based chemicals and bio-based packaging materials.
