Bioethanol energy firm Ensus has begun working to restart its biofuels refinery in northeast England after a loophole was closed that had allowed imports to come into the EU at a reduced tariff, according to Reuters. Ensus is owned by two U.S. private equity funds, the Carlyle Group and Riverstone.
