Acoustic design of noise barrier walls or noise absorbing walls

While the road and automobile technology is progressing, the traffic noise has become a social problem. Last year "The Environmental Standards on the Noise" was revised, and consequently measures must be taken more seriously against traffic noise than before. So is strongly required the improvement of the performance and function of noise barrier wall, or noise absorbing wall. This paper describes the technology of improvement on the sound technology as well as the additional function relating to noise barrier.
