BASF Links With IBM to Develop Electronic Materials for ICs

BASF says it has entered into an agreement with IBM to jointly develop materials used in the production of advanced integrated circuits(ICs).The partners will develop electronic materials for the manufacture of high-performance,energy-efficient chips based on 32-nanometer(nm)technology.Financial terms were not disclosed.
