They were large, heavy and had a power output that was somewhat disappointing. Now, they are staples in every tradie's tool kit. "Cordless convenience is just getting better and better," says Techtronic Industries Australasia director Mike Brendle. "Cordless tools dominate the power tool category to the point where they now have more than 40% of the Australian market, of which 18V represents the biggest share."
