A Canberra-based rack manufacturer has developed a more effective cooling system for the hot and cold aisles of tomorrow's powerful, high-density server systems. Dimi Kyriakou reports. Although the use of hot aisle and cold aisle containment in data centres is yet to become the status quo, it is a popular design option that separates inlet cold air and exhaust hot air to ensure equipment racks won't overheat.
