Dr Juraj Hegyi's successful International Society of Dermatology (ISD) Fellowship in Munich

Life has many surprising twists and turns, and one of them was my stay at the Klinik und Poliklinik fur Dermatologie und Ailergologie der LMU in Munich. It was my good fortune that I learned about ISD scholarships to spend clinical time abroad gaining new experiences. When I received the e-mail with the good news, I could not believe it. I had never won anything and this was really a "great prize." My stay was planned for 3 months and I commenced with contacting the head of the clinic, Professor Thomas Ruzicka. I arrived in Munich a couple of weeks later and set out on this wonderful joy ride called "Munich dermatology."
