Urogenital diseases in rabbits

This article has detailed the common conditions of the urogenital tract of the male and female rabbit that we currently see in general practice. As many rabbit owners are dedicated and observant, it is often possible to obtain a very thorough history,and observations of subtle changes of behaviour and habits can be especially helpful in leading us towards making a diagnosis. Especially since rabbits will freeze on the consulting room table, it is very useful to understand their habits at home. A sound knowledge of correct rabbit husbandry is important so that we can advise owners about any changes that need to be made to help their rabbit's condition. As the majority of the conditions discussed in this article are treatable, these cases can have asatisfying conclusion.
