I should like to comment belatedly on the paper "Cigarette smoking associated with premature facial wrinkling: image analysis of facial skin replicas by J K Koh, H Kang, S W Choi and H O Kim", published in your journal on pages 21-27, volume 41, 2002.In Table 3 for past smokers in the age group of 20-29 years it would appear that the percentage in the mild wrinkle grade should be 90.9% rather than 99.1%, and in the moderate wrinkle grade the percentage should be 9.1%.In Table 4 for current smokers in the age group of 30-39 years the percentages corresponding to < 10 and 10-20 pack years of smoking in the mild wrinkle grade should be interchanged. Similarly the percentages corresponding to < 10 and 10-20 pack years of smoking in the moderate wrinkle grade should also be interchanged.
