Design and care of surgical instruments

摘要

The aim of this article is to provide insight into how surgical instruments are designed and manufactured, what materials are used, and the differences in the care they need in day-to-day practice to maintain them at peak efficiency. Protocols for instrument care in general practice are also included, along with troubleshooting advice.
