Palisaded neutrophilic granulomatous dermatitis caused by cellulitis in a patient with systemic lupus erythematosus.

Palisaded neutrophilic granulomatus dermatitis (PNGD), a rare dermatologic condition, is characteristically associated with underlying systemic diseases, especially autoimmune conditions. The most commonly associated diseases are rheumatoid arthritis (frequency of 2.6.8%) and systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) (II.3%). The number of reported cases of PNGD in patients with SLE is quite low, and the clinical significance of PNGD in SLE remains undetermined.5"8 We herein report a case of PNGD caused by cellulitis in a patient with SLE.
