Strainstall to market fatigue detector to industry

Strainstall Group has signed an agreement with The Welding Institute (TWI) to make the CrackFirst fatigue sensor system available to industry. TWI was the project manager of the innovation programme that developed the gauge, which was awarded the Worshipful Company of Scientific Instrument Makers Annual Achievement Award for 2005. The CrackFirst system indicates the portion of the design life that has been consumed on any structure on which it has been installed.
