Electrical Review and Wieland Electric recently joined forces to deliver a webinar on the essential health and safety requirements for designing and using machinery. Here, we provide an overview of the presentation and the key points that were raised. The area of machine safety has undergone a number of changes in recent years and it is essential both the designers of machinery and its users are aware of the responsibilities under the new legislation.
