Productivity of Hindy Bissinara mangoes as influenced with the application of filter mud and farmyard manure

The beneficial effect of supplying Hindy Bissinara mangoes with the by-product of sugar cane industry namely Filter mud or Farmyard manure on yield and quality were studied during 1995 and 1996 seasons. Both organic fertilizers were applied with the mineral N source i.e. ammonium sulphate at 0.0, 1/2, 1/3 or 1/2 quantity from the recommended N rate namely (900 g N/tree).
