COTTON is by far the most important natural fibers used in textile industry alone and blend.This pre-eminence is due to a happy combination of properties such as abundance,low cost,fine cross-section,high strength in wet and dry state,easy dyeability ...,etc.However,cotton suffers from serious drawbacks like the ability to crease and inability to maintain shape-holding properties specially in moist atmospheres.
