摘要

Forest policy is historically characterized in France by a sector-based logic, a state regulation of forest resources management and a market-based regulation of the wood industry. However, emergence of sustainable development principles and transformations in French policy-making suggest that a forest policy shift occurred. From a perspective of political regulation, this shift is analyzed as a political rescaling process. In fact, through the evolution of forest institutions, policy agendas and decision process, territorial politics might become a new framework for forest policy regulation.
