The response of summer groundnut to sources and levels of sulphur was studied on loamy sand soil at Agronomy Instructional Farm, C. P. College of Agriculture, S. D. Agricultural University, Sardarkrushinagar (Gujarat) in summer 2012. The study revealed that number of filled pods plant"1, 100 kernel weight pod yield and haulm yield were significantly higher with application of 45 kg S ha~(-1) but it was remained at par with 60 kg S ha~(-1). The numbers of pods per plant was also significantly higher withapplication of 45 kg S ha~(-1) but it was fond at par with 30 and 60 kg S/ha~(-1). Significantly higher pod weight plant"1 was recorded under 60 kg S ha~(-1) application but it was found at par with 45 kg S ha~(-1) application. Significantly higher shelling percentage was recorded with 45 kg S ha~(-1) application. Higher sulphur levels i.e. 60 kg S ha~(-1) recorded significantly higher uptake of nitrogen, potassium and sulphur by groundnut over lower sulphur levels. Sources of sulphur failed to expresstheir significant effect on yield attributes, pod yield, haulm yield and nutrient uptake by groundnut.
