摘要

A field experiment was conducted at Zonal Agricultural Research Station V.C. farm Mandya, UAS, Bengaluru during 2011-2012 to study the effect of graded levels of potassium on growth and yield of irrigated maize. The results of the experiment have revealed that the application of 125 per cent recommended dose of potassium in two splits with recommended NP resulted in higher growth and yield of maize compared to RDF. The lowest growth and yield of maize was observed in the treatments which were not treated with RDF and potassic fertilizers. The final soil test values after harvest of maize crop showed the decreasing order of nutrients from recommended NP + 125 per cent recommended K in splits compared to RDF application.
