New biodiversity priorities -a route to wildlife recovery

The UK's biodiversity has been the subject of a Biodiversity Action Plan process for 13 years. The recent review of Priority Species and Habitats has taken two years, involving 500 wildlife experts and over ?600,000 worth of voluntary work. Attention must now focus on how we give these species and habitats the best chance of recovery.
