摘要

This research presents a simple and effective way to controllably deposit copper on or inside a conductive polymer matrix. Scanning electron microscopy measurements illustrate that chloride ions in the electrolyte have significant influence on the morphology of Cu nanoparticles formed, where a transition from octahedral to cubic crystals was seen. Electrochemical measurements show that Cu particles of different morphologies yield distinct peak potentials during the oxidation of glucose, in which the oxidation is greatly favored at the cubic facet.
