Mid- and small-size capital goods, infra firms see revival in demand

Mid- and small-size capital goods and infrastructure companies are starting to experience a revival in demand, especially from the public sector, as an economic recovery-however strenuous-begins to take hold. They include civil contractor and infrastructure builder Ahl-uwalia Contracts (India) Ltd; Shaktl Pumps (India) Ltd, a maker of solar and agricultural pumps and electric motors; KEC International Ltd, a power transmission engineering, procurement and construction firm; and Transformers and Rectifiers (India) Ltd.
