BENGALURU: Hitachi Koki India (power tools major), a subsidiary of the Yen 9.78 trillion ($81.3-bilion) . Tokyo-headquartered Hitachi, plans to double assembling capacity and localisation by the wort financial year, a top executive said on Saturday. Talking to Deccan Herald, Hitachi Koki India Executive Director and Secretary Dartatraya Joshi, said, "Our focus in India is to import finished goods from our parent company and our associate companies. from Malaysia, China. We import around 130 different models and market in India, We don't have any hardcore manufacturing facility in India."
