摘要

We developed a method to control the emission wavelength (lambda(em)) of red phosphor (Sr1-xEux)(2)Si7Al3OuN14-u (x = 0.10, 0.6 <= u <= 1.3). By decreasing the oxygen content (u) from 1.3 to 0.6, lambda(em) varies from 608 to 640 nm, keeping the luminescence efficiency at a high value. This property is explained by considering the distortion of the network of Si(Al)-N(O) in the host material. These results show that this material realizes white light-emitting diodes with both high luminous efficacy and high color rendering, which is an advantage for commercial use.
