RIL awards 400 million dollars subsea project to Aker Kvaerner

Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL) has awarded a 400 million dollars contract to engineering company Aker Kvaerner for supply of subsea production system for phase one of its 3.3 billion dollars D-6 deep-water gas field development. Reliance has awarded engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract for an 18-well subsea production system for D6 in the Krishna Go-davari basin off Andhra Pradesh coast, industry sourcessaid.
