Construction equipment sector pins hopes on Modi Government for revival

India's construction equipment manufacturers hope the Narendra Modi-led National Democratic Alliance Government will favourably change policy and help accelerate growth of the country's infrastructure and construction equipment sectors. The Indian Construction Equipment Manufacturers Association (ICEMA), a representative body of the equipment industry, said it expects the Government to propel equipment demand by increasing investment in infrastructure development. The primary agenda is to remove the bottlenecks that have stalled infrastructure projects and increase investments in the sector, it said.
