The Steel Minister, Mr Virb-hadra Singh, on Wednesday ruled out the need for a super-regulator for clearing large-scale steel and iron ore projects. Speaking to Business Line, Mr Singh said, "There's no question of having a super regulator. No one is above the Constitution and the Cabinet. The issue has come up because of delays in green-field projects where acquisition of land is involved and these delays are at the State level. But things have improved lately."
