HOW TO CLEAN A KN AIR FILTER

As my wheel arch liner decided to part company with the car on the way to Ford Fair last year, and, in the process, attacked my wife Sara's ST220 following behind me - yes I was in the dog house as it pushed her lower grill back and scratched her Triple R splitter - I decided this would be a good opportunity to clean my KN air filter as the access was now much easier. I bought the kit to do it on eBay. On the box it states that you should clean and oil the filters every 50,000 miles, so mine was well overdue.
