PEI planning to have new Water Act and regulations by fall 2016

The government of Prince Edward Island (P.E.I.) has issued a white paper inviting the public to take part in the creation of a new Water Act. A first round of consultations, conducted by P.E.I.'s Environmental Advisory Council, is soliciting through December 2015 input from the public that will be used in the preparation of a first draft of the legislation.
