Administrative penalties left out of Nova Scotia's new Bill 122

After a year-long review, Nova Scotia has introduced and passed amendments to its Environment Act. Bill 122, the Environment Amendment Act, received first reading on November 30, 2011, third reading on December 9, 2011, and Royal Assent on December 15, 2011. It is not yet in force.
