Explicit identification of multiple small breast cancers in an optical mammographic imaging

An optical mammographic imaging problem for multiple small breast cancers is considered in the frequency domain. The diffusion model approximation with an extrapolated boundary condition for the compressed breast is used. An explicit identification scheme based on a weighted Fourier transform is introduced to determine the multiple cancers in a layer-by-layer fashion. Numerical results are presented.
