Fibre optics is an ongoing field To fulfill the needs for calibration or characterization of fibre optics instruments and components studies have been pursued and concretised by specific benches- set-up by BNM-LCIE. Are concerned power meters, Optical Time Domain Reflectometres (OTDR), multimode and monomode fibres. The princi-ples and performances of the benches are given. Uncertainty compo-nents are listed and extended uncertainty is evaluated.
