摘要

Improvement of a stage performance of highly loaded axial compressors can be made by using end-bend blades or leading-edge sweep (Behlke, 1986, Tweedt, et al., 1986, Wisler, 1985). However, the bladings proposed so far change the pressure-rise vs flowrate characteristics of a stage substantially so as to require modification of the whole stage design. To improve efficiency and surging margin of a specified stage without changing other stages, the end-bent/swept (EBS) blades have been developed for middle stages of axial compressors.
