摘要

Environmental assessment and management studies have to attach more importance to the complex interactions within and between ecosystems. Since environmental information systems have to support the processing of simulation scenarios, the integration of simulation models is sufficiently important. But, the interconnection of ecological models demands a comprehensive knowledge about their mathematical behaviour. A scale oriented wavelet transformation method for analyzing simulation models is discussed in this paper. Also, the environmental information system KERIS and a generalized formal description for models is introduced. Finally, the application of the analytical approach to a robin (Erithacus rubecula) model and a final discussion shows its practicability for ecological modeling. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science B.V.
