摘要

This paper aims to improve the accuracy of calculation for the pulsating flow joining/branching at a junction using the method of characteristics. It is well known that pressure or pressure-loss-coefficient (ξ) of a junction changes much with flow rate. We proposed new boundary conditions of characteristic method at pipe junction in which the pressure loss is taken into account dynamically.
