PBF: Recovering Jet Fuel Demand Boosts Margins

Jet fuel demand is recovering, which will help mitigate the challenge for reOners posed by painful margins during the worst of the Covid-19 pandemic, independent downstream player PBF Energy said Thursday. Speaking to investors and analysts during a call to discuss its third-quarter earnings, PBF executives said that gasoline demand has returned to pre-pandemic levels and consumption of distillate fuel oils such as diesel and heating oil now exceeds 2019 volumes.
