Silverstone Energy has garnered around US 100m in a private share placement to allow it to push ahead with its North Sea projects.The proceeds of the fund raising will be used to carry forward the first of Silverstone's Southern North Sea development projects and allow the company to maintain exploration momentum by funding its drilling programme over the balance of 2007 and 2008, the company said.
