UK Monkwell fast track potential

Granby Oil and Gas has increased its stake in the Monkwell gas field in the UK Southern North Sea to 20% - with an appraisal well hoped to kick start a fast track development.David Grassick,managing director of Granby,told E&P Daily: "Field operator Dana has a rig slot for June/July 2008 to drill the appraisal well.If the appraisal well is a success then it will be turned into a development well."
