Mitsubishi eyes GoM stake

Mitsubishi Corp is in talks with Anadarko Petroleum regarding buying a stake in the K2 field in the Gulf of Mexico.In March, Anadarko said it had agreed to sell 23.2% of its interest in K2 to two undisclosed parties for US 1.2 Bn. The deal is expected to close in the second quarter, Anadarko said.
