Thailand awards four blocks

Thailand has awarded exploration rights for four blocks in the Gulf of Thailand.A consortium comprising Chevron,PTT Exploration & Production(PTTEP)and Mitsui Oil Exploration was handed rights for offshore Block G6/50 and Block G8/50,said Deputy Government spokesman Chodechai Suwanaporn in a statement.
