Chevron and partners ExxonMobil and Shell have been awarded exploration rights to a block in the highly prospective Greater Gorgon Area offshore northwest Australia.Chevron will be the operator of the block with a 50% stake, while ExxonMobil and Shell will each hold a 25% stake.
