Algeria-focused Gulf Keystone has received a US 215m takeover offer.Previously BG, with which Gulf made a strategic partnership in the middle of last year, has been named as a potential suitor, although Shell has also been touted."The company announces that it has received an approach and is currently in discussions which may or may not lead to an offer being made for the whole of the issued and to be issued share capital of the company," Gulf said.
