Total,Nexen and their partners are ready to push ahead with development of the Usan field offshore Nigeria after getting the official nod to proceed.The field development plan includes a floating production,storage and offloading(FPSO)vessel with a storage capacity of 2m bbl of oil(see yes-terday's E&P Daily).It will ramp up to a peak production rate of 180,000 b/d of oil.
