Norway Snohetta disappoints

StatoilHydro's Snohetta wildcat exploration well in the Norwegian Sea has come up dry,the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate said today.The 6609/6-1 well was drilled on the Snohetta prospect about 100km northwest of the Norne field.The primary target of the well was to test the hydrocarbon potential in Cretaceous sandstone,while the secondary target was a potential prospect in the Eocene.
