SeaDragon to build rigs in UK

Rig building looks set for a return to the UK after SeaDragon Offshore announced plans to build three rigs on Teesside.The company plans to float on the London Stock Exchange next year to raise funds for the US 1.5 Bn project.SeaDragon said it intends to build three semi-submersible rigs worth 500m each at the Tees Alliance yard on Teesside, with the hulls to be bought from Russia's Sevmarsh shipyard.
