Statoil’s Uranus probe

Statoil has spudded its Uranus exploration well in the Barents Sea with the Eirik Raude rig. The well will take about 70 days and be drilled to a total depth of about 13,124ft (4,000m). Statoil has already made a small discovery in the area.
