PDVSA extends Caribe round

Venezuela's PDVSA has extended the bidding deadline for the Delta Caribe round of four offshore natural gas E&P licences.Offers were due last week but according to Energy and Oil Minister Rafael Ramírez a new schedule will be revealed by planners in the next few days. A number of the 13 companies that bought bidding rules for the round requested the extension, said Ramírez, who is also President of the state-owned oil major.
